Mini-14 Rifle Gunfighting DVD with Tom Cornelius

The Mini-14 has been a fixture in the “urban rifle” world since it was first introduced in 1974 by Ruger. Although it has seen service with many major police agencies around the world, it is often overlooked by tactical shooters because it is not “tactical enough”.  Thus the Mini-14 has taken a backseat to rifles like the AR-15 and the AK-47/74 in the market for many years. 

In this DVD, Suarez International Staff Instructor and Law Enforcement Officer Tom Cornelius shows you that the Mini can not only keep up with the plethora of “black rifles”, but in some ways even surpass them for service and utility. Tom discusses the history of the Mini in its various developmental phases, maintenance and accessorizing the rifle, as well as a detailed field stripping and reassembly of the weapon.  Tom also goes into the tactical use of the rifle from zeroing to CQB shooting, and from dynamic shooting on the move to position shooting and tactical manipulations of the rifle under duress.
