The AK rifle family is in use in over 60 countries with nearly 100 million rifles produced.  Whether you select this rifle as your primary weapon, as we do, or simply realize that there is a good chance of coming across it in the field, you need this DVD as a bare minimum for understanding how the weapon system works and how to keep it running.

This DVD will teach you how to assemble and disassemble the rifle.  You will learn how to assemble and disassemble the bolt.  You will learn the cleaning and maintenance of the rifle via the butt stock tool kit, as well as changing the "furniture" (stocks, handguards, and pistol grips), installing folding stocks, changing sights front and rear, and adding flash hiders/muzzle devices.  You will also learn repair of problems such as straightening a canted front sight base or gas blocks, WASR rifle fixes and changing the trigger group and/or shepard crook spring replacement.

We will also examine the issue of Optics, Scope mounts, and Rail systems and worthwhile and non-worthwhile customizations for the Kalashnikov family of weapons.  A very important topic is the Federal Law Compliance Issues which few really understand.  You will find this DVD is the most comprehensive examination of the Kalashnikov platform done thus far, and not from the perspective of a trained gunsmith, but from the perspective of an end-user/operator.

I just finished watching the video and wanted to say that I found it very informative. It is much, much better than the AGI video and offers more relevant and timely information on current issues with the AK line, as well as the more common accessories available. I particularly liked the sections on fixing cant and changing sights.

This DVD is a must have for those who want to get serious with the AK but don't have the time to research the ins and outs.

Basically covers everything short of demilling your own kits and building em! Jim Fuller was very clear and concise, I didn't find myself rewinding and rewatching over and over and over again like you would with those how-to videos which you'd find on youtube.

I never had the guts to attempt to diassemble my bolt before, but I was able to do it then reassemble it in under 10 minutes.
