CASV-EL Free-float Handguard

This “piggy-back” mounted handguard system has a removable lower handguard which allows the mounting of an M203 grenade launcher. At this time, we offer only the Extended Length model which was specifically developed to fit the M4 carbine or the CQB (10.3-inch barrel) configured flat top upper receiver assembly. The CASV-EL was designed and manufactured solely for the US Navy. After fulfilling the Navy contracts, we now offer this system to the Civilian sector.

This CASV chassis is made entirely of aluminum with exception to the stainless steel mounting hardware. After mounted, the CASV adds less than 1lb to the firearm’s overall weight.

Installation note: The installation of this handguard does not require any modifications to the firearm except for the removal of the sight tower sling swivel (if your carbine is equipped with one).
